Kanata-Carleton Takes the Prize in CBC Challenge
Sometimes the most unexpected adventures are the most fun!
CBC Ottawa’s All in a Day sent me on a scavenger hunt to find the best wooden horse in Kanata-Carleton.
I thought we might have a slight advantage because Wesley Clover Parks and the Ian Millar School of Horsemanship are right here in our riding, so we bounded over to see what we could find.
We met Alexandra in the parking lot of the Ian Millar School of Horsemanship, and without her help, we never would have found the wooden horse that became our winning entry.
Thank you to all the staff who were so welcoming and accommodating, allowing me to come in and take these fun photos, which ultimately helped me claim the prize. They even found me a helmet so I could properly test it out!
I have to say, this was a lot of fun. What we need right now is some fun, and I was so glad to be part of it.
Thank you to everyone at the Ian Millar School of Horsemanship, and to Alan Neal for hosting such a fun edition of CBC Ottawa’s All in a Day. Thank you as well to MPP George Darouze and MPP John Fraser for taking part, and to Stittsville Councillor Glen Gower for choosing our entry as the winner.
