The Carp Fair Is Back for Its 163rd Year

One of my favourite times of the year is almost here! The 163rd Carp Fair returns September 24 to 27 for four great days celebrating agriculture, rural life and the incredible community spirit that makes Carp so special.

There will be something for everyone throughout the weekend, with agricultural and homecraft exhibits, livestock shows, amusement rides, live entertainment, the ceremonial parade, SuperDogs, the demolition derby, working antique displays, great food and so much more. This year’s schedule also features performers such as Jade Eagleson and David Wilcox.

The Carp Fair simply would not be possible without the many volunteers who give their time to make this long-standing tradition such a success. If you would like to lend a hand this year, the Carp Agricultural Society is welcoming volunteers. You can learn more and sign up through the Get Involved section at carpfair.ca

Tickets are also on sale now. Click here to purchase tickets, and here to explore the full 2026 schedule and plan your visit.

The Carp Fair has been bringing generations of families, farmers and neighbours together for more than 160 years, and I am so excited to see that tradition continue.

I can’t wait to see you all at the Carp Fair!
