Below, you’ll find my letter, mailed on May 30th, to Jill Dunlop, the Minister of Colleges and Universities regarding news of the potential closure of Algonquin College’s Hairstyling and Esthetics programs. These are highly demanded, valuable programs, and their closure is just another symptom of a systematically underfunded post-secondary industry. I ask the Minister to take steps, and work with Algonquin College, to find a path to keeping these programs open.
